MARK CI feel bad for the guy who had to sit in this ice cold office , no heat in below zero weather. Gal computer seems continually failing. App does not work right either. My reservation got bumped three times to different locations. I ended up going back twice for pick up and return due to your systems issues. Your employees / franchisees deserve better and do the clients. I have photos of this office it’s simply disgusting and unsafe.
Julie GWell I actually had my reservation at the 5245 W Washington St Indianapolis, IN 46241 location and when I got there to pick up my truck it was never pulled and put out for us to get and use it so I had to call and have a representative switch my reservation to the 7820 W Washington St location. We put gas back in the truck where it was at when we go it and was charged fuel refill charge and another fuel charge as well. I was also automatically given the $30 insurance instead of letting me pick which I would’ve only done the 15. I’ve never been in wreck and I know how to drive. Not happy my bill was 200 dollars.

Isrrael JYour self pick up app is absolute garbage. The fact that the GPS wouldn't recognize that we were in the correct location cost me an hour of my rental time. All while trying to receive help from one the dumbest customer service representatives I've ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I would never recommend your service to anyone I actually like, nor will I ever use your service again.
James RThe location was fine. I wasn’t too thrilled when U-Haul moved my pickup location to a spot further away and then forced me to return it to the further location instead of the one I originally selected to pickup from. I gave U-Haul plenty of notice with my reservation and they were unable to accommodate. So add in the extra mileage on the truck, fuel used, and having an additional 25 minutes each way, I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone. Customer service was also unwilling to work with me and the reservations manager told me I should call back tomorrow to speak with her manager on where to turn the truck in when it was do to be returned an 2 hours after the phone call. Throw in the fact that I paid for 24 hours with my reservation starting at 8pm and U-Haul said I’d be assessed a late fee if not returned by 6pm the next day. Absolutely terrible customer service and handling of the situation. Never intend to use U-Haul again.

Kimberly BChecking the truck in and out were a ridiculous hassle. I am sure that there is a way to use AI to monitor the condition of the truck without making customers take pictures, which was fine consuming and stressful. I would also advise you to collect scanned driver’s licenses before check-in, because taking the photos of my license in my car in the dark, it was very difficult for me to get readable pictures. Both check-in and check-out were major hassles and that location was sketchy and I did not feel safe at all. I will probably call to complain about the whole experience!
Marissa SI went to the first location and the place was never opened. The lady I called them sent me to another location. After I was already to the next town I had to drive to she called me back and stated she gave me the wrong location and I then had to turn around and drive 20-25 min to another location. I got to the next location and there was no staff there again. Called U-Haul and was then told it was done via text. I ordered a 15 foot truck and they tried to give me a 10 foot with a 5 foot trailer. This would have caused me multiple extra trips. Also, I was told I was going to get a 50$ credit for my trouble since it took me over 2 and a half hours to get a truck. I looked at my bill today and I didn’t receive that.

ALFRED OThe pick up location was an old mechanic shop, hours were limiting, and not very clean. The rental itself was clean, and in great shape. Also the price was fair.

Malcolm GTreat your customers right if you can't open your facility on time. We were just picking up a trailer we had an appointment and you had all our information and our card information then you want to tell my husband that you called the cops and reported it stolen.
Michael RBetter security. My car was broken into, and battery stolen when left overnight. Customers should be made aware of the high crime in the area... The owner of the shop did find a used battery so I could make it home, and I appreciate that. Thanks uhaul for charging me twice. Once for service and once for property replacement.
