Make location easier to find. Building was in suite D no E as listed and no sign indicating it was a UHaul facility. Truck was out of gas when I picked it up and truck was in poor condition and sounded like it was barely going to start as well as cosmetic damage. Location and equipment was not professional at all. The ladies I spoke in customer service I rate them 5 out of 5 stars. They were patient, informative, and very friendly. There were two lady reps I spoke with, one with getting into the truck, and the other with putting a note on the account and issuing the credit for the equipment that I wanted to purchase which led to the downfall of my experience. Because I was on a time limit, and it already took time for me to get in the truck and check it out I had to rush home to make time not realizing that the equipment I ordered was not equipped in the truck. I only had one other friend to help my and the equipment that I initially purchased would've in my opinion, would have sped the moving process a lot quicker which led to an even bigger down fall of my experience and why I will probably not use U-Haul anymore. I wasn't able to move my items with in the reservation that I scheduled the truck for. I called Customer Service once again to let them know what was going on. I explain to the lady that I wasn't going to make it in time and had to extend my reservation time by an hour and she said she had to charge me another $56 dollars. I would've hoped that she understood that by me not having the equipment I ordered to stay within my reservation time that she would've at the very least waive that fee for the screw up that fell on the locations end. The rep I was talking to at that time of my experience with U-Haul had no sympathy. In all honesty what I paid I found out if I just invested another $50 to the total bill I paid U-Haul I could've hired some movers. That is the route I plan to take in the future.Joshua Li U.

Check engine light was on. I drove 2 blocks and The oil pressure light came on so I had to stop and put oil in the truck. The truck was almost on Empty so I also had to put gas right off the bat. I rented a dolly with my truck but when I picked up the truck there was no dolly. Terribly experienceJesse B.

This Uhaul location is an independent retailer of Uhaul products. It is really just a parking lot with a few truck units on it with limited availability. Office is a bit dingyKonrad K.
I never have a problem with Westbrook location, but my employee locked the keys in the truck and between me chatting (never received a number from the chat, the person left the chat without answering my question) and calling it took me over 2 hours to get ahold of someone just to tell me to call a locksmith. I thought that's what roadside assistance was for. Me trying to get an answer from Uhaul was poor.Alex G.

My previous rental truck was through BUDGET & I was sorely disappointed - dirty truck, tires needing air, dashboard all lit up with issues, the height of the truck not visible and when I telephoned to find out, they didn't even know! This experience with U-HAUL (as my last one in early May) was the polar opposite and was GREAT from start to finish... Two thumbs up!!Kimber M.

I was charged Safe Move for $14.00. I declined this coverage. Plus the truck sized I reserved wasn't available, 15". Thankfully I came early because the only trucks left with a ramp were 20" and 26". The owner was about to give the 20" truck to someone without a reservation. Ridiculous.Astrid S.

I made a reservation, the location of choice didn't have any available trucks in the size I reserved. I like that they were able to dispatch me to another location about 5/10 minutes from the location I was reserved with. I need it an Uhual immediately, and I received what I needed. The pick up location was actually more convenient for me, and the owner was VERY understanding. I really enjoyed my experience. The Uhaul representative practiced profiling and discrimination was inappropriate, unprofessional and possibly violated the law with his harassment and use if my private information.
