As soon as I picked up the truck and started it, the dashboard showed “LEFT RR TIRE LOW – ADD AIR TO TIRE.” I took a photo immediately, before beginning the trip. U-Haul had changed my pickup to this convenience-store location, but when I arrived, the furniture pads and utility dolly I had reserved were not available. I had to drive another 15–20 minutes to a different location to collect them, using my own rental time, fuel, and mileage. I was then charged twice for the dolly and pads. Although U-Haul also promised additional mileage for this required detour, I was later charged for excess mileage. When I complained, I was told there could be “a lot of reasons” why the equipment was unavailable, including another customer claiming it. Those are U-Haul’s internal logistical issues, not the customer’s responsibility. I had reserved and paid for the equipment and should not have had to spend my own time, fuel, and rental mileage obtaining it elsewhere. U-Haul later issued a $44 refund, which I appreciate, but much of that simply corrected the duplicate equipment and excess-mileage charges. Overall, this was a very disappointing pickup experience.

The vehicle I had reserved was not there and had to take a much larger truck which I did not want to do.
Ryan DVehicles brakes were making a grinding noise and you had to put your foot all the way to the floor to stop. The rear liftgate went up well but you really needed to use alot of force to close it. Inside the cab was fairly clean but the outside was dirty. Inside the bed had some dirt/debris that I had to sweep out. The size of the truck did suit our needs but overall not that impressed,
Cam PWas good u haul on the phone was very helpful though out this experience for my app would not work.
gordon gU-Haul truck was not clean when we got it and the dolly tab was opened prior to me getting the truck. I told the store and they said as the trucks get returned late they might not get checked which I think is crazy as a cleaning fee is charged so clearly they aren’t checking it or cleaning it after use sometimes. I would not come back here to rent again. The truck itself was fine.
Patricia FThe CSR at the convenience store was very helpfull, she only asked me to park on their dedicated spots and the equipment return process was very stright forward. She was aware that we were returning the truck there and everything went smooth.
JULIO Athe box of the truck was not cleaned, there was straw still in it when I picked up
Keith BI had requested furniture pads in my reservation, however the location didnt have any available. They remove the cost, which is fine, but it affect my plans which is priceless.
alberto sThe staff were kind and courteous. They did their best to serve us well. However, there were several problems with this rental: 1) The truck was returned the night before after hours and there was no key available at 7:00 am pickup time causing a 1.5 hour delay. 2) The text link to "photograph the truck license and ODO" did not work (it was expired). We tried 3 times, and it said "Link expired" 3 times. This caused some issues when returning the truck and settling the amount of gas 3) We ordered a refrigerator dolly and this was not supplied when we picked up the truck. They had them in the store, but they did not read the reservation order and tell us; "Pick up your dolly over there (in store) before leaving." Nevertheless, despite all these issues, I really liked the staff and I think they are still learning how to system works. But for anyone who doesn't have flexibility with their rental timeline, a larger, more experienced U-Haul site may be advisable.
