The reservation process was horrible. It took 3 separate calls to finally get the vehicle that I wanted and the time I wanted. The counter staff was friendly and helpful. The process was painful. Trying to scan the licence didn't work. The gas gage wasn't at full and it was confusing to find out how much gas to return it with. Every other rental I have dealt with, with the exception of Uhaul had the tank full. This way it is much easier to know how much gas was used. This needs to change immediately. The truck was not swept out and was full of grass and dirt. It was an American vehicle so trying to obey the speed limits was difficult but not impossible. A Canadian speedometer would have been preferable. I was being charged by the KM but the truck showed mileage, also a pain in the ass. Lastly I was forced to return the truck before 24hrs and was not offered a discount on the daily rate. This was also a huge inconvenience. Overall not happy. This was the first and last time I rent from Uhaul. I feel bad for the representative at store he was nice, understanding and helpful. Too bad this and the fact it was very cheap were the only positive points about my experience.I guess you get what you pay for. I would only recommend this Uhaul location because of the customer service at the store level. Otherwise stay away.FABRIZI M.

When we got to the rental location in St. Albert it took an hour and 15 minutes until we had the keys in hand. The clerk was having a very difficult time. He couldn't scan the licence efficiently, the debit machine for the rental was not working, he was the only one in the store so he kept assisting other customers in between whatever he was doing to get us on our way. We were told that we could return the vehicle at a drop off location close to our destination off Whyte Avenue. We tried calling uhaul/customer service to confirm a drop location and were on hold 45 minutes. As such, we returned back to St. Albert, incurring a large expense on our distance charge fee. We were so late getting the vehicle which inconvenienced everyone helping with the move, the telus wifi appointment and meeting the landlady to go over a few things - that all of those things had to be re-arranged. This was our daughter's first move to her own apartment and she was in tears due to the terrible start to our morning. I was not impressed at all. From the start the whole process was confusing, not well organized and the experience at the rental location was just horrible.Coleen H.

The online check in and return process was terrible and cost me over 40 minutes of my rental time when picking up this morning. The online portion was failing for both me and the Yakkys cashier on 2 separate devices. It continues to kick us back to the input information portion 4 times and was a huge waste of my rental time. Not happy with the online portion at all. The location was fine and the vehicle was fine as well.Paulina N.
