This location tried to file a claim against me that I did not return the truck â€œ there's no truck or keysâ€ and â€œthey have been trying to reach me for days â€œ . But goood thing every time I return things after hours I always always record my self doing so , store was closed even though it was suppose to be open and they tried to scam me I sent uhaul support the video of me returning the truck as well as Uber receipts leaving the store . I will never go back to that location never !Amir K.

I am very DISAPPOINTED in the service at this location. I had made a reservation online early in the morning for a 10:30 AM pick-up. I had left helpers in my home waiting for me to return with the truck to load my stuff for onward delivery to the Goodwill store on Parker Road. . I arrived at the location at 10:20 AM. The Agent at the register informed me " the system is down. I had to call the owner to show me how to get around it." He made a call and then informed me "the owner is coming." The owner arrived at 11:20 AM. He accessed the desktop and informed me "We will extend you return time from 3-PM. Our system will not accept card payment at this time only. Do you have $100 cash to put down for deposit? I responded that I only had $20 in my wallet. He told me "we do have an ATM at the entrance of the store. You can go withdraw the $100, you will be charged $2." I went to the ATM and withdrew $100. My charge was $3 instead of $2. After I paid the money, the owner gave me the key to the truck. As I was leaving the office to walk to the truck, I got a call from my helpers " we have to go because we had other engagements." It was 11:52 when I received the call. I pleaded with my helpers. They were not willing to stay./ So, I returned to the location and informed the owner that I am going to cancel the rental. He informed me that "you will end up losing some money. But I will make a note for you to receive a discount on your next reservation with U-Haul." I told him that without helpers I will not be able to do what I intended to do with the truck. I left the location at 11:52 AM So, he gave me $68.10. Considering the delay from the time I came into the premises to the time I left, and having lost the help I had. I am requesting a full refund of the remainder of my $31.90. I look forward to hearing from you.THOMAS S.

Our reservation was for 10 am. The store was supposed to open at 10 but the owner didn't show up until 10:30 am after being called. I saw this same comment on a review and thought it might be a once in a lifetime occurrence because life happens but now really seems like a pattern so beware.Gregg E.

Business was to open at 10:00, owner did not arrive until 10:30. Computer system was down, took additional time to secure paperwork. Location was transferred from original rental site. We will never return to either site for future needs. Truck is extremely fuel inefficient..$19.00 in gas for 43 miles.GAYLE C.
Make sure that the last customer filled up the gas tank.The truck I rented on Sunday 11/3/19 was not full of gas and I only put less than 60 miles on it, and it cost me $45.00 to fill it, but I made sure it was full.I think I should be reimbursed for some of it.LINDA W.
I reserved the pickup at 10am because thats the earliest I could do. Got there, the place wasn't even open and no one was around besides 2 other people that did the same thing as me. The sign on their door said they open at 10. Around 10:45 the owner finally decided to open the store. Got the truck after much frustration! He said it was full of fuel and ready to go. He didn't do a walk around, just handed me the keys. When I got in and started it up, I saw that it was NOT full of fuel but rather it had 3/4 fuel in it. I took a picture with the mileage and fuel together. When I returned it, I filled it back up to 3/4, I also took a picture of this. Got my receipt and he said there was 7/8 fuel and so he charged me to fill it up to full. Terrible Terrible place!!!!!!!!!!! He also said that he would change the pick-up time to 11am since he didn't get there at 10am, then he did not so I got shorted an hour! It ruined my whole moving experience!colby C.

Scheduled a specific time to pick up and the shop was closed when I got there. I had to wait for 25 minutes for them to arrive so I could rent the van, when we went to turn the van back in, he had a sign on his door saying they were closed for 3 days, which means i could not do a final walk through of the equipment that I rented, overall it was not a great experience.,Jeffrey H.
The owner of this location is a Lier and a cheat. Never will I ever stop there or recommend that place to anyone. This isn't my first time of renting a Uhaul but this is by far the worst customer service.simon I.

I reserved the truck at Alameda and Buckley location.I patiently waited for 45 minutes because the line was long.When it was finally my turn I was informed that the truck was in a different location. We ended up very late with our move. When I reserved the truck I reserved a dolly as well.But I did not get the dolly. I maybe would recommend to a friend. They have been reliable and had a truck both times we have rented from them. They need to get a phone number that works or have an email we could use to contact them. I needed to call them twice pertaining to this last rental and each number they gave me was not accepting calls. So I couldn't confirm my rental or let them know we would be late picking up and then I also tried to call to inquire about extending rental and still wasn't accepting calls. It was a lot of guess work and hoping for me that all would work out.Kimberly W.
This location should not be an authorized dealer. It is very run down, there is just one man running the Uhaul rental and he was gone during the appointment time we made, we ended up waiting 25 minutes for anyone to be able to help us, he didn't know the rental program well and it took many tries until he successfully entered everything, he wrongly informed us of the amount of gas we needed, and wasn't knowledgable in other areas. Very bad pickup experience and it turned me off from Uhaul for future use.Hanna P.

I always use this location when I'm renting uhauls. The men there are the best! That's why I go to this location! They were helpful, friendly, professional, and kind! I don't want to keep having to rent a vehicle, as I have used them 3 times this year, (!!!) But when I have to, I always use them! Their vehicles are very nice too!! I rented the cargo van this time, and it was NICE! I was impressed by the comfort, it drove great, and it really could get up and go!! All their vehicles are always well maintained and clean! I give this location, and the staff 2 thumbs up!! I highly recommend them to other's if you need a rental!! They help take a little stress away, when you are already stressing over moving! Your store we went to before this one on 225& Colfax is awful. The two clerks were rude, lied to us and were lazy. And rrefused to look up trucks to rent at other locations. They insulted us! And we complained to the 1-800-uhaul before renting at this location. We and there was 3 of us have never been treated or talked to so badly. Their behavior was disgusting and should not be tolerated?!!!!shaylen R.

Made my reservation about 10:30pm the night before my 10am pick up and the store was closed when l got there at 10:15am even though the store hours posted on the door said 10am open. The business had a phone number posted on the door so l called it and it seemed to be the guy's personal cell by the way he answered it. He said he was ten minutes away. At 10:33am l was finally standing at his counter signing paperwork. I also did the express check in the same time l reserved the truck but didn't seem to go through.
