Avail Medical Products has been a trusted manufacturer of disposable medical instruments and devices since 1995. They pride themselves on manufacturing, testing, packaging, and distributing devices that help with everyday healthcare services. Avail has always been headquartered out of Fort Worth, Texas though they owned manufacturing locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Avail building was originally built in 1967 and U-Haul purchased the location in July of 2016. Adaptive reuse building conversions allow U-Haul to promote infill development to meet citizens’ needs while preserving the natural resources and land normally required for new construction.

Environmental Impact

Serving U-Haul customers since 2016, this facility was built through adaptive reuse of an abandoned building. Adaptive Reuse promotes infill development in an effort to strengthen communities, with the following benefits achieved at this site:
