I am moving 1,500 miles this fall and will not be renting from Uhaul. The equipment was fine, the service was not. The office of the location I rented from was closed the day I picked up the Uhaul. The Uhaul app wasn't working. I would fill in all the information but when I clicked on "contine to begin pick up" it responded with "page not found". The app's AI Chat couldn't help. A phone call to the listed phone number told me I would get a call back in 1 hour and 45 minutes!!! Eventually the app worked. I drove the Uhaul out of the location an hour and 15 minutes after I arrived, on time, for pickup. I paid for 8 hours, but had less than 7 hours of actual usage time, I couldn't get everything I had planned on done. Returning it, app failed again. Took half an hour to finish the return on the app. The customer service return phone call from that morning? 2 hours and 45 minutes later. Yeah, the "help" phone number was useless. The Uhaul was fine, no complaints. But because of the problem with the app, and no recourse when it failed, too frustrating. My first Uhaul rental was 30 years ago, and I've never rented from another company. After this experience, Uhaul has lost me as a customer.

Everything was great
GREGG MThe reservation transaction to the pick up invoice was not clearly explained. If I had known that the 19.95 rate changed to 99.00 I would have left without the rental.
Amanda CThis is the weirdest Uhaul. No one is ever there and the cell service is lacking. They leave a number to call but no one answers. You cannot scan the barcode or use the app as there is no cell service.
LORIANNE SThis is basically an unstaffed location. I dropped the truck off during working hours and no one is there. It said to use the online rental return and that would be great but there is no cell service at this spot. I had to go back the following morning to ensure the contract was closed. The person (Tina) showed up later than the posted hours and really couldn’t be bothered to assist. I was told when I rented and the truck was on 1/8 of a tank that if I brought it back at 1/4 of a tank I would receive about $30. She said I’d have to take it up with Uhaul and would not go outside to check my mileage and fuel gauge. She said she would check the truck in after I left. Not very professional. In the past few months I have spent a lot of money with Uhaul and this was not good customer service.
