This is my favorite place to rent a U-Haul because the owners of this location are always available and are super easy to work with and nice people.

The pickup location that I originally selected was not able to provide me with the equipment that I selected. Why was I able to book this? I had experienced this exact situation 3 years prior, so I began attempting to contact the chosen vendor (Fun shine sports, Brigham City, UT) At that time, I showed up to rent a tow dolly at my scheduled time, only to be told that they didn't have the equipment that I had reserved! I was told that I had to drive to an alternate facility, 30 miles away.. which I did, but was not was happy about. This time, I had attempted to contact Fun Shine sports several days in advance to confirm my online reservation, suspecting, but hoping to avoid a repeat performance. No luck! I left a voice message that, ironically, was returned after my scheduled pickup date. The 800 number informed me that I would need to pick up at an alternate location, as the original location did not have the tow dolly that I had reserved. The alternate location was fine. They had what I needed and I was on my way. However, the reservation process was complete garbage. About 5 days prior to my reservation, I began receiving unexpected, random packages from U Haul. It was a bunch of moving supplies that I did not need, nor knowingly order. I called the 800 number and was told that there would be multiple P packages arriving from multiple locations. I asked if there was a possibility of stopping shipment of the remaining items. I was told that there was a possibility that other items may be delivered but that I could return those items to my local UHaul location for a full refund. Upon returning from my trip, and turning in my one way tow dolly rental, along with 2 boxes of moving supplies, afore mentioned, I was told by the employee at the Cedar St.location in Helena, MT., that they did not know how to process a refund that I was assured by the representative at the 800 number, "would be no problem".. I was told that I would instead have to return to the store when "Clay" the manager was there to handle it. I asked if it was okay to leave my 2 boxes of unneeded supplies at the store, rather than dragging them back in. I was told that, that was fine. The next day, I attempted to call, hoping to resolve the issue over the phone, rather than having to drive out of my way, yet again to correct this issue. After calling multiple times, nobody locality would answer the phone. I decided that I needed to handle this situation in person, so I drove to the store. I had to wait for 20 minutes to get Clays attention. Meanwhile, the 2 other idiot employees that I had delt with the previous day, were conversing about their private lives and playing on their phones. When I finally received Clays undivided attention, I explained the situation. I was told that he had seen the packages that I had left. He assumed that FedEx Ground had made a mistake and had misdelivered my packages to his store!?! Subsequently he, was able to get the FedEx Ground driver to pick up the package under the understanding that they would deliver them back to my home address that they had ALREADY BEEN DELIVERED TO! When brain surgeon Clay explained what he had done i just stared at him in disbelief. What in the actual fuck!?! How difficult would it have been for him to ask his employees about these random boxes or for them to have mentioned this situation to him? Clay asked me what I expected him to do? I told him that I just wanted the refund that I was promised by the representative at the 800 number. He them became combative and I told him that his lack of communication within his staff, was not my problem. I would gladly call the 800 number and have someone instruct him on how to do his job if necessary! At that, his tone completely changed. He asked to see see mt invoice and email communication with the call center. At that point, he processed my refund. However,he asked me that if FedEx delivered the shipment back to my address, if I would return 8t to him yet again? I told him that I would. Subsequently, I was contacted by FedEx Ground asking me what was going on with this shipment. I told them that FedEx Ground had done nothing wrong. U haul apparently has a history of hiring complete morons incapable of basic reasoning skills or communication. FedEx Ground informed me that this was not an isolated incident and that they would simply return this shipment to the sender. As a result of this series of egregious customer service failures on the part of U Haul I cannot recommend, nor will ever likely use your company again. ZERO out of Five stars.
Kirk HMake sure the equipment is clean and ready to go have the person in charge do a pretrip without having to be asked, our truck was dirty on the in side and seats ,floor were full of dog hair. Windows were so dirty we had to clean them when weto the pick up area. I will say the truck ran great for the trip home, no problems. If needed i will use UHAUL again just a different location.
Anthony cVery helpful and understanding man. My car broke down on my way from Washington State to San Antonio Texas. Called around for a car trailer and found this location a ln hour away. (Even though it added miles to the truck rental) went to get the trailer to safety get my car into San Antonio and this man patiently waited for us to arrive and walked my grandson through the operation of the trailer. Very nice guy!! Thanks for everything!!
Alice DThe remote pick up and drop off at Brigham City and Waldorf MD were both great. The experience with the original pickup location in Corinne UT was terrible. It was wonderful to have uhaul customer service at the ready, and for Brigham City to happen to have a truck ready to go with no notice.
