I had tried to rent a UHaul from a different location for 4 consecutive days, but that wasn't possible, given how it's "moving season" so I switched to just one day but the guy for customer service switched me to this location, as it had cheaper mileage and was a newer place. I really appreciated that, as a college student, and when we brought the truck back, the lady that was there was super nice and helpful in figuring out the app!
Penelope KIf you are going to require pictures of licenses and other such information do it when I make the reservation, not when I'm in a gas station full of people. Make it so all I have to do is show a conformation number at pickup site and take a few pictures and it done. An hour to do paperwork at pickup is ridiculous.

william wThese "convenience stores" should not be doing UHaul services. They just aren't equipped, trained, etc to do it period. Leave it to REAL UHaul locations\dealers! My rental was for a 15ft truck for moving. My experience: Poor checkout. Staff barely knew what to do. They didn't even know the truck was even onsite that morning at 9am for my pickup! So, I have no idea if it was properly checked in by the staff to UHaul standards. App to validate the checkout, terrible. If you make a mistake and need to go back a page, it loses all pics taken and then most likely it times out, then the check-in link is not valid. Poor...plain and simple. Checking the truck back in? Again, the site staff barely knew what to do, nor did they care. Worst thing, this convenience store on a Saturday night (9pm) appears to be a cruising hangout for a lot of sketchy people and cars. Lot was full of people, parked cars at pumps and regular parking, and people walking around like it's an afternoon in the park. So not very easy to get the truck in and parked with all the people and cars everywhere.
