These "convenience stores" should not be doing UHaul services. They just aren't equipped, trained, etc to do it period. Leave it to REAL UHaul locations\dealers! My rental was for a 15ft truck for moving. My experience: Poor checkout. Staff barely knew what to do. They didn't even know the truck was even onsite that morning at 9am for my pickup! So, I have no idea if it was properly checked in by the staff to UHaul standards. App to validate the checkout, terrible. If you make a mistake and need to go back a page, it loses all pics taken and then most likely it times out, then the check-in link is not valid. Poor...plain and simple. Checking the truck back in? Again, the site staff barely knew what to do, nor did they care. Worst thing, this convenience store on a Saturday night (9pm) appears to be a cruising hangout for a lot of sketchy people and cars. Lot was full of people, parked cars at pumps and regular parking, and people walking around like it's an afternoon in the park. So not very easy to get the truck in and parked with all the people and cars everywhere.

Try to use the app for over an hour and a half to pick up my U-Haul didn't work went inside and talk to the manager she was able to get me my U-Haul but she charged me everything that you could charge somebody without even asking. The $19.95 price advertised on the side of the truck is a complete farce. Had the U-Haul for 2 days went 55 mi and ended up paying $133 plus $30 more dollars in gas. I will make sure to let people know that if they ever think about renting a U-Haul It ends up being about 8 times the price that's advertised on the truck

If they had been busy it would have affected gas station customers having to wait a long time and pressure on the other gal.
