The truck was okay. It did not have charger port other than a cigarette lighter. I had to move stuff a short distance and chose a pick-up location between the two with a truck available. The U-Haul website switched to the Easley location which doubled my mileage and added an hour to my day. Contrary to the published hours, the pick-up location was not open and I had to use the app. The app would not upload the condition photos and required info that could have easily be asked for when I reserved the truck from my desk, not in a parking lot. The whole app experience was poor. Drop-off went better.

amanda gTake the time to properly inspect the equipment that's being rented out. The location was adequate and the gentleman we worked with was nice, However, we were given a car hauler that apparently had bad wheel bearings on one of the trailer tire. We had insurance on both the trailer AND the truck. When we crossed the border into Mississippi, the bearings seized up and the wheel burned off rim and everything. We called 24hr roadside assistance and ended up stranded on the interstate for 15-16hrs before a new trailer arrived. We were told we could get a hotel room and be reimbursed, BUT we couldn't leave the equipment without violating our contract. The overall response to our situation has been horrible. The original location has reimbursed us for the trailer but the response to our 15 hr ordeal with roadside assistance has been horrendous. If I can help it, we will NEVER use Uhaul again , nor recommend them to anyone!
