I picked the truck up using the mobile app, and dropped it back off in person. In both cases, it was a breeze!

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe truck was insanely unsafe. The side driver mirror did not stay in place- I had to hold it while driving from San Luis Obispo California to Carson city Nevada going over dinner pass with huge semi trucks. No visibility and lane changes were nerve racking. I started the day with a flat tires as well. That was fixed promptly. For $1000 it was not worth risking my life and others on the road. I was told the manager at U-Haul would call me about this scary unsafe ride- I have not heard back from her. Customer service is lacking in this case.

ryan nUnfortunately, the drop-off location was located on a street that had been torn-up for repaving. We were not made aware of this even though we called prior to dropping off. We had to circle around and found another U-haul truck parked a block over. We parked behind it and walked to the office. We left the keys with the attendant and he said he would take care of the rest. 4 days later we were contacted in regards to the U-haul wanting to know if we had returned it. This was very frustrating and required us to make multiple phone calls to resolve the issue. We discovered the truck had never been processed for return that Friday. When it was finally processed it said the return date was Sunday September 20 at 5:30p when in actuality it was returned on Friday September 18 at 3:30p. In the end the issue was resolved but it was upsetting during a stressful time.
Jessie MExcellent service and fast, the people working was very kind.
