I had made my reservation via the U-Haul App. I admit I arrived late because my ride was late picking me up. When I did arrive my reservation had been cancelled. I started to rebook using the app while standing in the gas station. The clerk told me no and gave me a phone number to call. The guy who answered was a clerk at another gas station. I know this because I could hear him checking customers out at the register. 35 minutes later he was completed my reservation. This time I was now paying just shy of double what I had booked the reservation for on the app. Once I started the truck I discovered that it had nearly no gas in it and the air condition was broke and the truck was filthy. By the way...the gas station has porn magazines on display for sale. I can now say this is my first time renting a U-Haul where porn was available.

everything was great

Allison JThe only problem with this location is that it was tight moving around. Not much parking lot space to work around with gas pumps and other store patrons. However, initial experience was terrible. We were to pick up on Elmwood in Columbia was AWFUL. Whomever was suppposed to call us to confirm pick up that morning, never did. We went to the Elmwood location and no one was there. Hours on the door was from 9-5. Not a soul there. There were 2 others waiting to pick up as well. No one would answer the phone number on the door. Do NOT reccommend that location to anyone.
