Bruce RWhen I book something on u-haul.com, I expect a consistent experience no matter where I go. I booked a rental truck and 12 moving pads on u-haul.com at a location in Millsboro Delaware. I also had bought a moving kit with a large number of boxes and other things on the same website. Your boxes advertise that you can return them if they are not used. Your website sent me a confirmation that the truck and the moving pads would be available at the site we selected. We went to pick up the truck and the gentleman informed us that not only did he not have any moving pads but he couldn’t accept our boxes because he was not a corporate location. There was no indication of this whatsoever. The closest corporate location was an hour away in Salisbury Maryland. The gentleman in Millsboro assured us that we would be able to rent the moving pads from that location and that we could return our boxes there. In the midst of planning for our move we drove to Salisbury and we were able to return our boxes. However the gentleman there would not rent us the moving pads because we did not rent a truck from him. I explained that as a customer u-haul.com is U-Haul to me. I don’t know about these differences between locations. So we ended up with no moving pads and two extra hours we were not counting on in the car as a result of this. You can trust me when I say that as a frequent U-Haul customer, I will never use the brand again.

DEBORAH CUsed the UHaul app to pick up the truck. The truck was clean. The only issue is the truck did not have the requested moving pads.
