Right blinker and break light on truck did not work… but truck had just been dropped off and had to check in really fast so we could take it. Didn’t have time to wait or another truck to rent so we took it anyway.

First of all I went to do the self service pick up and they said there was an outstanding condition on my account. No phone call or text beforehand to let me know. When I called, I was on hold for ten minutes or so. I started a chat because I’m in the middle of moving and have movers coming in literally an hour. They give me a different number where she said oh I’m so sorry they didn’t remove it from your acct. I got on the phone with someone immediately with the second number. So then I start my check in. It states to pick a drop off location. I had already picked a drop off location so I skipped it. It was super confusing though. I go to get the key. All the lockboxes are open and no keys anywhere. I ask someone working there he says the guy left so he doesn’t know. I ask can you call him and he doesn’t have his number. So I call uhual back again, again it’s going to 40 minutes before someone is on the phone. I go to the front of their building because I see a guy pulling a truck up. I stand in the front of their building while the guy/owner hooks up a trailer to someone else’s car. Another guy shows up with an uhual shirt on and says can I help anyone to the owner and he points to me. I also said I need help. He gives me the key and confirms my drop off location. He also guides me out because there are trucks and crap everywhere. I get the truck. I only have it five or six hours versus the whole day. Uhual sends me a notification of where to take the truck which is the WRONG location. One I did not agree to or pick. So I do a live chat again. The agent takes literally forever but changes the location. I go to self serve drop off the truck. Not realizing I have to take photos of every single angle of the truck. I’m walking back and forth. Anywho it was the WORST rental experience of my life. Total time to get this rental truck was OVER an hour. Also I was charged full price even though one of my hours was wasted dealing with that mess plus I didn’t even have it 24 hours. If I can find a better rental company for my next move, I definitely will do so.
