The truck cabin was filthy – – make sure all equipment is properly serviced before renting to the next customer. There was coffee spilled all over the inside of the cupholders and it had splashed onto the seats. It was an old pair of work gloves on the floor, an old pen and the floor was filthy. The inside of the windshield look like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, so it was hard to see through in sunny conditions. Ensure the business owner/proprietor treats customers with respect. The remote login system didn’t work for obtaining a code for the key locker. The owner showed up with the key and when I told him that my day was significantly delayed because of not being able to access the key, he said “that’s your problem”. When I showed the filthy conditions inside the cabin, he said, “well, what do you expect? It’s a truck!“ The owner not only did not show respect, he was completely rude and had no concern for my inconveniences of getting my workday started late and for the filthy conditions. Although he did offer to clean it, I was in a crunch for time, so I cleaned things up when I got to my pick up location. Finally, the odometer recorded way more miles than what I actually traveled. I will subsequently reach out to customer service to report the issue, as I believe, I was way overcharged for the mileage.
