There were 2 Dollie’s I was given the older one that was best all to hell, see pics, after picking up and driving it to my destination to pick up my vehicle they were closed and the dolly straps were two short to use the dolly, luckily I had a friend in state that had a car trailer he pulled my jeep home on that and since I already had a contract to deliver to Charlotte,NC I kept my end of the bargain. One strap was 8 “ to short the other about 1” to short, I have used tow Dollie’s in the past with this jeep with the 31” tires and never had an issue, this one would not work I even tried to use my own ratchet straps afraid the vehicle would fall off I chose a not to use the defective equipment. When I dropped it off I even showed one of their employees and he said, you can use me for confirmation, that dolly is not usable or safe due to cut straps. I will tell all the people I know not to use U-Haul for anything in the near future unless they refund my charges! See pics of employee and a measurement of other Dollie’s that their straps would have worked fine with no issues. This is a them problem wasn’t supposed to be a me problem.

Eric GUnfortunately we had a very bad experience. We have used uhaul many times but instead of spending 45 minutes to pick up our truck and trailer that Tuesday morning it took about six hours of our time. Uhaul kept changing the time on us and it was very frustrating. I don’t have enough time to explain all that went wrong. We had not had a poor experience with U-Haul before this. We use U-Haul a lot because we do the moves ourselves as a military family. It was very hard on our family especially with the initial stress of the move. Customer service was not very compassionate or caring towards our experience.
