We had to move the pickup location to Londonderry, VT, to Brown's, which was great. However, the original pickup was in East Dorset, VT, at Farcass. The location was helter-skelter and looked like a junkyard. We spoke with the owner on Thursday about a Friday pickup. When we arrived, he had been closed all day and would not open again until Monday. This forced us to find another location in Londonderry, which was an extra 40 minutes back and forth. My suggestion is that you find a better location in the Manchester area. The guy at East Dorset seems to only work four days a week, and the location doesn't reflect well on U-Haul.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe windshield of the truck was filthy inside and out. Very difficult to see with sun glare. I had a reservation in East Dorset for a 15 foot truck. There were two trucks in the parking lot but no keys in the lock box and I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way one way. To receive the truck I was supposed to get originally. I also purchased a mattress bag which I was unable to use and your registration system is a complete joke.
JASON JI feel like your directions are clear when they benefit you, but the information on how to fill the tank is unclear and was in an email. I filled the tank but was not reimbursed. I think it could be mentioned somewhere in the online drop-off instruction video I watched.

peter aI dropped off the trailer on Saturday — the same day as pickup — and called the number provided, per the contract. On Monday, U-Haul called asking why I hadn't returned the trailer. I explained that I had, and that I have pictures to prove it. The site then processed the return and charged me a $20 "off-hours service fee. I am sorry, what service, exactly, was provided? U-Haul is a side business there, they are some sort of construction company and the lot was full of rusty equipment.
