I understand that the representative may have been required to refuse the rental because my account showed an E-Alert. My concern is not with U-Haul’s policy, but with how the situation was handled. The representative was rude, dismissive, and did not take the time to explain the reason for the E-Alert or provide any guidance on how I could resolve the issue. Instead, I was simply told that they could not rent me the truck and that I needed to “figure it out.” As a customer, I expected to be treated with respect and given clear information about the next steps. A difficult situation can still be handled professionally. I hope U-Haul provides additional customer service training so that customers are treated with courtesy, clear communication, and respect, even when a rental cannot be completed.

The issue is not with this location, they are just a distribution center, it is with uhaul itself and their employees lack of ability to do or care about their job. I have pictures of 1 extremely leaking wheel bearing and 1 leaking wheel bearing on a trailer that was rented to me to drive across the country. Then the support center was 1000%, completely and absolutely useless in finding a solution
Rorie MBarely literate. Unable to tell me how much the extra day was. Told me if I didn't use the extra day it would be credited. Very poor overall. Underestimated the mileage as he did not listen when I told him where we would be going.
Ernie SThe gentleman that helped us was amazing 100/10. However after picking up the trailer. One of the D hooks (forward right) was missing. This made it impossible to strap anything down on that corner. I had to stop at a mechanic shop to get a way to hook a strap to that corner. This costed me $50.
