Actually listen to the customer and consider what is being said rather than just going through the routine of completing tasks and disregarding proper customer service. When I turned the Uhaul in I told the lady that it was around half full when I got it and she said that's alright; but ended up with a bill and not atleast a reasonable portion of my one hundred dollar deposit back. I am very displeased with my recent experience using Uhaul.
Pierce mI asked the lady what time they closed and she said 5 but because they messed up my reservation and delayed me getting my truck by 2 hours she said if I dropped it off after hours they would wave the after hours fee but on my final bill they charged me for after hours drop off and won’t return my calls. They also said the truck had 7/16 of fuel in the tank but before I drove off I checked it and showed the same lady that it was only 5/16 full. She said she would change it to reflect accurately. I drove the truck 40 miles and filled it up after with 4 gallons (10mpg estimate) to bring the fuel gauge back to 5/16. They charged me an additional gas charge of 4 gallons even though I dropped it off with the same amount of gas.
Nicolas GPick up and check out was quick and easy. Unfortunately the employee working that evening must have not been trained correctly to attach open trailer and after driving about half a mile the trailer popped of the hitch and nearly hit other cars as well as my own vehicle. Thankfully I was driving slow and was able to turn into a near by parking lot and put the trailer back on and screw it in properly.
PAULA QOnly issue was the truck almost didn't start and had to be cranked for ~10 sec before it turned over. Other than that, the mobile check-in was a breeze.
