The only reason I didn't give an excellent rating was because the process of moving from a unit on one floor to a unit of another floor was not simple. When i moved, my card key would not allow me to access the 3rd floor of the building. Fortunately, there was someone on staff who was able to get me access to the 3rd floor on the elevator.

I was in line waiting forever for somebody to help me at the store. Literally spent 45mins there … the storage unit didn’t really have many carts to use to help me move my things. I wish I was recommended to use a Dolly.

DAVID B | Overall ExperienceHad a unit here for a year— I had multiple issues with access when I first moved my items here, later the locker was damaged by another customer and the replacement key was never sent to me. The representative was instead requesting me to drive the over 1 hour 20 minute round trip drive to come pick it up and then claimed she would mail it to me. I didn’t receive this key until I went to close my unit out. The main representative I dealt with was super helpful, but the 2nd one that I spoke to when I was physically closing my account tried to make me drive back to the other location (while I was hauling a trailer) just to take the lock off because the woman working the other location was gone & “wouldn’t come by this location (down the road)”. She also told me they would charge me $50 because they “couldn’t remove the lock” even though I supplied the keys back to them. I was not given these instructions prior. The main representative intervened and told me to not worry about the lock and also closed out my account, assisting with the charge to my card, as I had just entered the new month billing. My rating is not a reflection on her assistance, as she was lovely, but to the multiple poor interactions prior, the increase in monthly rent during my time there, and the difficulty with accessing my unit multiple times.

Conscious, that my payments for storage was due on the 25th of each month, I planned carefully to vacate the space before that date and to notify, U-Haul that I had done so. Since that time I have received communications thanking me for using U-Haul, advising me that my payment was late, and advising me of late fees. Please review your records, I advised U-Haul of my termination of storage, several days before the final monthly payment was due. What has been a positive experience, is being negatively affected by this mistake. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
