My unit was broken into three times, they stole my hvac tools, my multimeters, my air compressor, and my string trimmer. There are no cameras away from the elevators, which half the time were broken, by vandals nonetheless, the controls for the customer elevator was vandalized tens of times i had the unit., over all, the storage unit was not secure and safe.
RUSSELL K | Overall ExperienceTerrible accommodations, wrong information, overall 0 customer service. We never used the storage facility and we would never recommend to anyone the use of storage space in Albany, NY. Zero, zero, zero. We missed our daughters college tour due to incompetence and lack of cleanliness, what we ordered is not what we got, nobody to help after hours and we were charged way more for the U-Haul truck because of the debacle with the storage facility.and we were not compensated. We spent most of our time with our kids parked in a UHaul storage parking lot waiting for assistance and couldn’t even check into a hotel we reserved until AFTER midnight and we had to check out by 11am. UHauls fault. Very disgusted. We ended up going with POD. We are SO grateful for a better organized, more convenient and wonderful customer service staff at POD. Only truck rentals for us from UHaul….and that’s probably because you get no surprises with that and there are no competitors.
michelle c | Overall ExperienceI paid my storage unit bill before the due date, yet I’m constantly being harassed through email by someone by the name of Jade Dunckle claiming that I haven’t paid my storage unit bill. This is very distressing, as I have the receipt proving that I paid the bill. There’s something fishy going on here. I can’t wait to get my stuff out. I will never do business with this company again in terms renting a storage unit from them. These people need to get their stuff together.

When I reserve a certain item (truck or storage space ) beforehand, it is different than when I get to the facility, to get the service. But with time, (which can be frustrating), it eventually works out. I have used the U Haul truck service for the last four years. I believe this is my first time using a storage unit.
leslie p | First ImpressionsVery AWEFUL with cleaning the property so ppl will not have insects who are clean/ Bed Bugs in my belongings/ will not reimburse me due to me taking my insurance away for more money/Not clean at all/ moved me in a storage room with a Pillar in the middle with NO DISCOUNT then wanted me to move all my belongings OUT AND INTO A NEW ONE making it more out of my pocket for my movers and the UHAUL when its their fault/ first thing is we're sorry that y'all definitely are REAL SORRY and now I had to throw away all of my belongings beside bringing their bedbugs in my brand new spot and more money out of my pockets... NEVER HAD BEDBUGS but NOW I DO THANKS TO UHAUL @139 BROADWAY IN ALBANY NY... WANNA SAY I UNDERSTAND NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IF YOUR NOT GETTING BIT UP WITH LUPUS AND ALLERGIC TO EVERYTHING SMFH RIDICULOUS.... I WISH I COULD SHOW THE PICTURES FROM THE STORAGE AND MY BODY... ALL SCREWED UP BC OF THIS MESSING WITH MY MENTAL HEALTH... NO GOOD AT ALL...
