I only stayed there for a month and like 14 days they wouldn’t give me half my rate back for only staying there for almost half of the month they were very rude as well.

Autunm M | Online Move InThe code to properly check into the facility wasn't working for my party or another party on site, despite dozens of attempts. The lights for half of the storage facility were not working. Repeated calls and texts were made to the manager about the lights, as it was pitch black, posing a serious safety issue. He advised that it would be fixed in the morning and no one would come fix it while we were there unloading the Uhaul truck, despite telling him that the truck was due back, halfway unloaded, with friends on site to help us. A homeless man walked into the storage facility and disappeared, posing a safety and security risk. The manager was contacted with zero response. The homeless man left, but returned. Upon returning, he set off all of the building alarms, with sirens and lights flashing for an hour. He never left the building and was rummaging in storage units. The manager was again contacted with zero response. No security or police arrived. We felt very unsafe knowing that anyone can and did access the facility, with all alarms blaring, the manager contacted, the man still inside, while we were there, with children, and our valuables, with zero care or concern from anyone at Uhaul. Lastly, there was a car parked diagonally from our Uhaul, while unloading, with a person sleeping inside, who then began filming us. The entire experience was extremely concerning, unsafe, and unprofessional. Definitely would appreciate a call from Uhaul corporate about it.

The ground floor of the building was not in the greatest shape, random rises and cracks along the floor. My Main dispute is the fact I don’t get reimbursed for any time that I didn’t use for the month I paid, I’m my particular case I rented it on 18th of may, and cleared it out 4th of June. That’s two calendar weeks of time where I’m not using it. But I can guarantee that if someone walked in same day, wanting to rent it the same unit they would get it, and your profits are doubled within a 30 day period off of the same unit. There’s no consistency, because if I rent out a trailer and turn it in early allowing u-haul to rent it out again, I get reimbursed for the days I didn’t use it. Why is it not the same for storage.
