Didn't get the unit I reserved and was charged am additional $10 for climate control and don't believe that mine is. Also was put in an upper locker but reserved Lower locker. Thought lock was included and in locker but it wasn't and had to buy one for $12. Employee wasn't helpful and put me on hold for over 14 minutes and when I'd call back, she'd put me on hold immediately multiple times.

JORDAN S | First ImpressionsOn today when I moved out after I signed a settlement, I was walked to my storage where I didn’t realize my lock was not present. The comfort of the sales agent had with the manager she informed him on speakerphone that they hadn’t been a lock on the storage and the last time I visited, I ensure the lock was locked. Therefore, I felt like there was some underlying things going on that I was not informed of prior to me doing this settlement. I would like to conduct an investigation because there were items missing from my storage that I knew were there beforehand the sales agent also agreed as I opened up some of my shoeboxes and shoes were not present and they were other items that I couldn’t identify at the exact time they were not there at all. This is completely unacceptable
antonio r | Overall ExperienceLoading door was locked, and wouldn’t open, elevator was broken. Had to go to office and was told I could “use the stairs” because the elevator had been broken for 3 days. This is after I had already unloaded everything from my car, then out it all back in my car. I was then given the option to take a more costly unit after I had no other choice and no options were given to me. I was given no directions to the new unit, even though I asked. I had to ask for a map, repeatedly, and it seemed the man behind rhe counter was hesitant to give me one, even though they were hanging right behind him and there seemed to be plenty. It was a really disappointing experience, and actually highly unusual compared to any other experience I’ve had with UhAul, including my previous experience at the same location renting a trailer, which went very well. The storage experience- terrible. Worst ever. Sorry to be brutally honest, but unfortunately the staff that day seemed poorly trained and unprepared to deal with any hiccups- even the elevator which hadn’t been working for 3 days.
