I understand not having access after the time you are granted access, but the fact that someone can get trapped inside the gate just minutes after their access time is insane. This happened to me before and I was stuck for over an hour. There is many reasons why this should be illegal. Also the lighting was very dark in my unit.

Ellen B | Overall ExperienceIt is hard to move around the facility with trucks/vans/cars parked everywhere. B020 is running a business out of the unit, parking their personal vehicle at the end of the row by their unit, making it hard to navigate and turn a u-haul truck through the row. They let trash blow out of their unit, spray chemicals on cars that is probably an EPA violation and do not care if they block the row/alley with customer cars. The exit door to my hallway of units did not close properly. Employees knew about it, but it was never repaired during my time there. The whole property could use more lights as it is pretty dark at night compared to a Public Storage property. Having to get out of your vehicle each time to enter or exit the property was also a problem for me. Other storage facilities let you stay in the car to enter a gate code or have bluetooth gates that do not require to leave your car or roll your window down. This way feels much safer than having to get out of your car in a dimly lit facility. I was not happy anytime I needed to go to my unit, which is why I left after a month. The price compared to other storage unit companies was also very expensive. Thank you for reading this, and I hope that improvements are to follow from this review.

Karen E | Overall ExperienceBecause I did the registration online, I went straight up to my unit to check in. According to the text message I was supposed to get a free lock with my unit. When I arrived, the unit was sealed and I couldn’t get in so I had to go back down to the office only to find no one there. I waited…and waited and finally found a number to text . Never got a response but 10 mins went by and finally a lady came in about that time. She seemed angry and was rude to me. I noticed just before she came in she was driving one of the uhaul box trucks with a trailer attached and was going way too fast for the small parking lot. When I told her there I did online check in and there was supposed to be a lock inside my unit, she told me they no longer provided free locks. I said I had chosen a special that included a free lock and has received a text message stating there would be a lock in the unit. She requested to see the text ads then reluctantly directed me to get a lock off the rack. She never got up to help and when I asked if she could help me open the lock she said it was “easy open”. It was not. I left the office and luckily had a box knife in my car and used that. It was a terrible experience and the employee was not helpful and extremely rude. So much so that I booked another unit elsewhere. I was shocked at the whole experience.

DAVID B | First ImpressionsWhile the staff was friendly, there is not enough of them or something was wrong with the phone. Moving carts were broken. The elevator broke during our move in on the second floor. All of the doors say not to use the stairs or we will be charged. We were stuck on the second floor with no ability to directly contact the Uhaul facility we were at. We eventually got the okat to leave using the stairs. We then had to finish unloading using only stairs. If the property was appropriately maintained and the facility easily contactable, there would be no complaints.
