The staff was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. Everything is clean inside and out. Our unit is nice and right by the elevator. The only issue we had was the AC was not working in our section so it was very very warm. It was over 93 degrees as shown on the indoor thermometer by the elevator. It made loading the 25’ unit less comfortable than it could’ve been with proper AC. The staff said they hoped to have it repaired over the weekend. We moved in on Monday so that’s another 5 days with no AC in climate controlled storage. Texas is hot! That was out of their control and I’m sure they are just having to wait on the repairman. I went ahead and gave 5 stars anyways. I’ll need another smaller unit for additional items later this week and I hope it’s already fixed. If not it’s going to be another uncomfortable unloading :/
Cheri D | First ImpressionsStaff is unknowledgeable and unhelpful. My mom called to make sure that I would be able to come in and switch my storage unit from a 10x10 to a 5x5, she was informed that I most definitely could without hassle. I went in and was immediately told by a different staff member than the one on the phone that “that wasn’t possible without my mom present”. I informed them my mom is currently across the country and I need it switched today. Why would we have been told I can do it originally? So I stood there frustrated trying to figure out what to do. Not a single helpful idea or any idea in fact was provided by either staff member. Finally I proposed the idea of me opening my own account and opening my own storage unit in order to switch, and they unhelpfully just said “you just can’t open one on your moms account”, so I had to repeat my alternative option again finally she agreed that it would work. I was told no 5x5s were available in climate controlled areas so I had to go with a 5x10. When in the process of switching to this 5x10 I noticed that I had to walk out of what seemed to be the “climate controlled area” and into a much hotter area, this is where my storage unit is located. I called the front desk and was assured it was climate controlled, I gave up and decided the fight was no longer worth it. I will need to store my stuff again next summer, but I will surely not be doing it here.

Yeah. That happens. Steve & Kim & their staff are to be immensely commended for their helpfulness, professionalism, abilities & service to help facilitate a smoother transition in what can be stressful & uncertain circumstances. Quick, easy, & painless as it can be. Would, & have, recommended to anyone.

I initially got the unit I had because they had the 1 month free from renting a truck from them but I am now at cube smart and I am paying less then half of what uhaul was charging.
