I think U-Haul needs to be more intentional in truth in advertising in terms of the in town daily rental rate. The detail that you have to pay per mile as well as the flat rate is not clearly evident. In fact, the text on the price structure makes that detail so small that you can’t read it so as to hide it from the site of customers. I understand that U-Haul has the right to do such things, but it should be clearly evident on your price board behind the customer service reps. Also, there has to be a way in which a full tank of gas is truly a full tank. After driving only 12 miles, the gas tank required over 7 gallons of fuel, meaning that the previous customer, or worse yet Uhaul itself, had not really filled up the tank. While I appreciated all the service I received from Noah, the customer service rep, I felt cheated when following the rules to fill up the tank. I would suggest a technology that allows Uhaul to truly measure the fuel that’s in the tank when a customer returns the truck. Thank you.
