ANGEL L | First ImpressionsMove in was smooth and the staff accommodated my need for unit size changes. We had a few access issue and the elevator got stuck on our last load but again the staff jumped in quickly to get the issues resolved.
Michael C | First ImpressionsYour online process makes a big deal about offering the capability to both complete the storage unit and truck/van-rental processes online ahead of time, enabling one to simply pick up a vehicle or move in to a unit without having to complete the process in-person. In both cases, this is false. In both cases, though the app claims to offer this functionality, in truth it does not exist and you still have to go through an in-person process. You should either get rid of the app (which doesn't work) entirely or build an app that does what this one claims to be able to do. You should also have available more than two reasonable flat carts for moving items in. Oh and the check-in/elevator process is a MESS.
Edward G | Online Move InEvery time I needed help over my 10-12 years with U-Haul Storage, my feelings were that the majority of staff was not helpful, the amount of rodent droppings and filth around my unit 3501 was off the charts and there was little enforcement of bad behavior of other storage renters. I also have no idea why NYPD would park in the garage for long periods and/or long bathroom breaks, is it a public bathroom? On a positive note, Brunilda was very prompt with me over email when I communicated that I would be ending my lease at the end of this month. UHaul needs more staff members like her!!!

Melina J | Online Move InI had a storage unit which I lost due to none payment. I explained i was in the hospital and lost my job. I feel i wasn't given enough time to try and salvage my belongings. Everyone I spoke to told me i had to pay before November 11, 2025 or my stuff would be sold. I was sent the notice on October 10, 2025. There should have been a least two notices before taking a persons belonging. I understand it was my responsibility to make payment but things in life happen and you may not have time to do it with one notice. There should also be someone who is in charge of the auctioning to have their contact information so that the client has a go to person when and if something happens to get in contact with instead of going to a third party.
