I reserved a truck and unit online and when I went to go pick up they said it would be a 100$ with the deposit. So I asked so I was clear so the total would be 100$ in total. They said yes and I said ok I’ll have to come back because it didn’t say anything about that online so I go get the money and come back and the guy I was talking to was gone for the day ok no problem then as I’m standing there they told me no it would be 160 for the truck rental and free unit and as I’m starting to get a little unhappy about this I told them I can’t do it the other guy told me less but I went back got the rest of the money again and came back to the store rented the truck and did my paperwork on the unit we set my code and I tried it for her and it didn’t work and I told her explicitly I have a entire night of move my things in because I’ve got to be out of my place by morning she said she would get it fixed and I took her at her word. But guess what she didn’t fix it at all and it still didn’t work so not only am I on my landlords bad side because he has contractors coming this morning but I paid for a truck I couldn’t use to move anything because there was no where to take it to because my code didn’t work and probably going to get me into a good amount of crap from my landlord and most likely fined because someone was way to toked out to be in charge of anything. So as of this far the free unit is most likely not going to be free it’s going to cost me more then a disabled veteran can afford. And when I checked with the live rep option they couldn’t do anything to help
