Mark M | First ImpressionsI put that my overall experience with uhaul has been poor due to the fact that they flagged me because one of my children gave them my number in the event uhaul couldn't get in touch with her. I never gave her permission to give anyone my number. She owes uhaul quite a bit of money but that is not my problem because I definitely did not know she used my number and name as a reference. The funny thing about all of this is that on December 19th, 2025, I had rented a truck from uhaul and a storage unit in Colorado Springs without any problems. Once I went to move it is when I couldn't rent a truck from them until I paid my daughter's bill. But Uhaul didn't flag me until the 21st of December after I brought the truck back. Please help me make sense of this. I called the 1-866 number to try to get it resolved and the lady on the other line basically said I had to pay my daughter's debt that I had NOTHING to do with,to be able to rent and she gave me another number to call but they are located in Canada SMH... Yeah... IF SOMEONE USES YOUR NUMBER AS A REFERENCE AND ENDS UP OWING UHAUL, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RENT FROM THEM UNTIL THE DEBT IS CLEAR... EVEN IF YOU HAD NO CLUE THAT SOMEONE USED YOUR NUMBER FOR JUST A REFERENCE!!! THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I'M HOPING CORPORATE SEES THIS REVIEW AND HANDLES IT ACCORDINGLY... I had a great experience, was well informed, and had all the help I could have hoped for. They truely do a good job, and I was so thankful to have a seamless process, with excellent customer service. I highly recommend the employees here, and noticed how clean and well taken care of the facility was. Kudos and 5/5 stars. Thank you, U-Haul.
DANIELLE B | Overall ExperienceThe unit did have spiders, but it's an outside unit. I wouldn't have mentioned it but I'm arachnophobic and probably noticed more than other people would. I never had a problem until the last day and it was with a truck rental not the unit. I reserved a truck and on the morning of picking up they called and changed the location. I thought I'd better call the new location and make sure everything was OK and find out they didn't have a truck either. Now they want to send me to another location thats even further than the one they were sending me to. This was very disappointing. I'm moving stuff to the North end of Colorado Springs so my mileage was going to be very expensive, so I had to cancel, which really put a damper on my day of moving. Very inconvenient and disappointing. I would probably refer someone to get a unit, I had the unit for over 2 years. I would have to mention the spiders but I wouldn't recommend the truck rental.

TERESA G | First ImpressionsI reserved a truck and unit online and when I went to go pick up they said it would be a 100$ with the deposit. So I asked so I was clear so the total would be 100$ in total. They said yes and I said ok I’ll have to come back because it didn’t say anything about that online so I go get the money and come back and the guy I was talking to was gone for the day ok no problem then as I’m standing there they told me no it would be 160 for the truck rental and free unit and as I’m starting to get a little unhappy about this I told them I can’t do it the other guy told me less but I went back got the rest of the money again and came back to the store rented the truck and did my paperwork on the unit we set my code and I tried it for her and it didn’t work and I told her explicitly I have a entire night of move my things in because I’ve got to be out of my place by morning she said she would get it fixed and I took her at her word. But guess what she didn’t fix it at all and it still didn’t work so not only am I on my landlords bad side because he has contractors coming this morning but I paid for a truck I couldn’t use to move anything because there was no where to take it to because my code didn’t work and probably going to get me into a good amount of crap from my landlord and most likely fined because someone was way to toked out to be in charge of anything. So as of this far the free unit is most likely not going to be free it’s going to cost me more then a disabled veteran can afford. And when I checked with the live rep option they couldn’t do anything to help
