I went to the office and confirmed my last paid day in the unit so I would not get charged for another month. On my last day I went to the office and turned in my swipe card and told them the unit had been vacated and cleaned. They assured me the auto pay would not occur. The next morning, I was notified via email that an auto pay had occurred. Called office and spoke with manager. She asked if lock was removed and I assured her it was. She put me on hold while she checked the unit, then told me I would get a refund in 3-5 days, depending on the bank. One click is all it takes to send a refund. Now I don’t have use of that money until UHaul decides to issue a refund. Not happy.

KEITH A | First ImpressionsEveryone we dealt with at UHaul throughout the entire move out was impressively service oriented. They were helpful, pleasant, and went above and beyond to make everythingrun smoothly. But when we got to the alum creek facility we encountered a woman who had to be the rudest and most obnoxious person I think I’ve ever had to heal with. We already had a reservation and a truck of moving items for the storage unit and movers waiting. So we had no options. Otherwise we would have left and never come back and told all of our friends at the university to avoid U-Haul. It’s a shame she ruined our experience with UHaul when all of you other associates in other cities and online had worked so hard to be customer service oriented.
