I wish office hours were 5am-8pm . And I wish the access hours was 24 hrs but maybe im being spoiled ;). Would be nice to be able to access my storage 24/7 but honestly 5am - 10 pm isnt bad. Staff is VERY friendly and VERY articulate. There was no confusion about how to do things or where to go for things. Very impressed with Uhaul on W Kimberly rd Davenport iowa

donald g | First ImpressionsThe amount of homeless people being around the front door was making it uncomfortable for myself and my staff to go in and out. I understand people have different situations and can’t afford much but over the winter they were living out of storage units, hanging around the hallways, or in the entryways. The bathroom ALWAYS smelled like urine and was consistently dirty. The front area was ALWAYS full of dirty & broken furniture, clothes, misc household items. I had told a couple of the employees about the people just hanging out in the entryway & especially the one woman that’s singing with her karaoke machine in the front entryway. Nothing was being done about it. I rented out 2 different units over the last year during the same time and transferred both out over the last 2-3 months. I will not be returning to that location if I am ever in need of a storage unit again.

Sheila V | Online Move InNever in my entire adult life and countless U-Haul interactions have I come across a worker like general manager Rebecca. From the start she was rude and had attitude. When I went to check in there was not a unit for the size that I reserved. First thing she should have said was she was sorry for any inconvenience since it was U-Hauls mistake and I had already been waiting 1/2 hour to speak with her. Instead she lied to me from the beginning. Telling me corporate doesn’t allow her to make changes to storage prices only trucks. I called U-Haul myself and confirmed that isn’t true. I felt like racism was at play since I am a hijab wearing Muslim; she told me there was nothing she could do for me and that I would have to take what she had available at regular price. However, once my blonde hair blue eyed sister got there all things changed. Her entire attitude changed and all of sudden she was now able to change pricing. I spent almost 2 1/2 hours trying to resolve the issue. I will be giving her boss a call as well and made sure that the issue was documented in detail with customer service rep Kimberly. Kimberly was on the phone with me for a good portion of the situation. She was amazing and apologized profusely.

Amber S | First ImpressionsIt's dissappointing that you can make a reservation, go to get access to the unit, and there's no unit available. After an hour of looking and calling customers, I was told they found one but it would be in a week. Fortunately I'd booked the unit a week before I absolutely had to have it. I came back as told on the Friday before I was to get the unit, and again, there was no unit available. After more checking and disbelief that they didn't have an available unit, one was finally found. The manager was nice about it, and surprised it was so messed up. As for the facility, the move in was easy, great to have a covered area to unload and the facility was clean and well lit.
