kim w | First ImpressionsI had lost my key and needed the lock removed, I called Mon afternoon to inquire if I needed to come in that evening or if it would be able to be done before my movers arrived at 8am Tuesday. I was informed that it would be a $50 charge which I was fine with, and that Tuesday morning would be fine. I arrived before 8am and was told very rudely "Well I can tell you that it absolutely will not be done right now ". I explained to her that I have movers on the way and that i specifically called the night before to make sure this would not be an issue. After letting out an exasperated sigh she said "well it's $50". I handed her $50 and she said "I'll try to find someone to do it" I went to wait for the movers and after they had been there for 5-10 minutes I went back up front to find a guy (Eric?) Standing behind the counter so I asked him if he was told I needed the lock cut, he said he was but then proceeded to tell me that usually there's a note to let them know ahead of time. I do not know why there was no note left. I let him know I had movers there waiting to get into the unit and I'm paying them $150/hrs. He then took 30 minutes to remove the lock. I found the attitude and lack of urgency in both employees to be very unprofessional especially when I had done my part to make sure this was not going to be an issue. On top of the $50 fee to remove the lock it cost me $75 for my movers to stand there and wait.
