Michele F | Overall ExperienceThis is my first experience using uhaul storage on 266 266 Rue Saint-Louis, Gatineau. Im gonna be honest, its not going great. Renting a unit was the easy part. Everything since then has been painful. When I had issues not knowing how to use my code I tried the intercom on the boxes outside and inside for assistance. No answer. The hours of operation and access you have to your unit ARE NOT THE SAME. It is not 24/7 access. You must pay an additional fee to access a unit you already pay for after "buisness hours". So if you show up with items you want to drop off when the building is closed your out of luck. I called to clarify this and was carrying around large items in my vehicle for an extra day. Absolutely needing to drop them off the next day, I was reassured by the agent I spoke to, who knew my unit was inside, that the location closes at 10pm so I have lots of time! Perfect. I show up at 8pm. Doors locked. Hours of operation are until 7pm not 10 pm. I call again, maybe I can pay for the after hours access since I'm here and HAVE to drop off these items. NOPE. That's only something I can do at the office while they're OPEN. No other solutions. By the way the GATES are open until 10pm, not the building. How does this help me? To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Information is not clear or communicated well. Its been more frustrating then easy. Building cleanliness 10/10 Unit: 10/10 Customer support: 1/10 Rules and regulations communication: 0/10 Convenience: 1/10

Michele F | First ImpressionsI’m giving it 5 stars because of the cleanliness and the employees, I have had no issues at all and honestly it’s the staff that make Uhaul survive. It’s very affordable pricing for the service. I was on St. Louis in Gatineau.
REGINALD W | Overall ExperienceLes gens devraient plus écouter nos besoins j’ai demender un storage chauffé et j’ai eu un climatiser je suis aller pour le changer et la personne n’avais pas l’air de comprendre ce que je voulais et avais beaucoup de difficulté il voulais me donner un storage extérieur alors que j’ai bien dit que je voulais un storage chauffé. Aucun des deux hommes parlais bien le français on est au Québec ce n’est pas normal… une chance qu’il y a une gentille madame qui est venu aider
