I recently visited the U-Haul location in downtown Jackson and was disappointed with the overall environment. The area around the facility is not well maintained, and the lighting in the parking lot is very poor, especially after dark. There are often groups of people hanging around the property, which made me feel unsafe during my visit. I believe this location could greatly improve customer experience and safety by better maintaining the property, improving lighting, and addressing security concerns.

Cancelling the unit was a challenge. Called the place we rented it from and someone picked up the phone and laid it down then nothing for 10 minutes. Finally taken care of via text from someone in corporate.

The unit itself had two light weight rodent shells not the entire trap and about 5 ant traps on the floor inside. It had not been swept out. Got this as a “free unit” for renting a truck one way. Don’t know if that’s why it was not clean and dark or if that’s the norm??
