When I got there me and my spouse needed to pick up the uhaul. First of all, based on where this is located there's only 2 ways to get in. There needs to be better signage, because Apparently you need to go around the backside of the building. When I tried to use the backside (where the GPS took me) there were 3 trucks blocking it w8th people loading up. Then, I tried going into the front. The awning where the trucks are situated had a cart and a truck blocking it, so I couldn't drive through there. So then I had to drive out, drive around the median and make a U turn just to get into the front. I don't know why the throughway was blocked, but it was frustrating. Then we get inside. The person there was young, curly hair, arm in a sling. He automatically handed me a QR code, didn't look up my reservation to see I wanted the counter pick up instead of the app because I hate doing mobile pickup. His arm was in a sling so I figured he just couldn't really operate the computer properly. Regardless, he was extremely unhelpful and seemed new. He didn't know answers to questions, and was dismissive to me but not my partner. We got the Uhaul, but he just sent my spouse out to go find it. I was waiting out by my car by the storage unit. It wasn't pulled out front (our rental). We had to go back inside to ask them where it was. Then, when we got the truck, none of the items I ordered were inside. I had to go inside, I asked for the utility dolly (i meant appliance dolly) and took that outside. I said "this is it? The large one?" He said "yes ma'am" not looking at my reservation and I left, confused. We had to go back inside for a 4th time and he was like "oh yeah and you guys got the pads and the other dolly" as if I didn't go in there 5 minutes ago asking where the dolly was. Now all of a sudden he knows what we ordered? Apparently in check in, we also reserved the furniture pads and additional dolly which was likely an automatic upcharge we didnt catch that was added on checkin. Anyway, we asked if we could get the furniture pads and utility dolly taken off (we hadn't left with it or used it because he JUST brought it out after my spouse went in and asked again). And, he said "no, you already checked in that was hours ago" (false I got the thing to check in, but hadnt filled it out since we were looking for the dolly). He just gave the items to us and we were in the store, I hadn't fully checked in and taken pictures of the truck yet so that wasn't correct but I wasn't going to argue with him or be super rude, he just wasn't wanting to help. He was on his phone 90% of the time. Then, later, when we asked if we could add a driver after we checked in the truck and were ready to leave since we were situating the driving situation, we asked him and he said no you can't do that. Then thankfully, his coworker behind him who was working the whole time (restocking, getting trucks etc) corrected him and said we could and was helpful and added the driver. I'm not sure what his deal was but it felt personal. I'm open to thinking it was personal against me because he just didn't like me or whatever, but I truly don't think I was rude or impolite at any point and I didn't yell, didn't talk back, didn't do anything. And it made the entire process take about 2.5hrs which is insane. Checkout was very smooth and the guy helping was very kind, a nice contrast to the disaster the day before.

They said we couldn’t do it without pictures. We couldn’t take pictures at that point, so we don’t know if our account is closed or what.

The only issue I had with my storage space here, is that the roof sometimes leaked during a very heavy rainstorm. The tops of some boxes showed water stains, but no contents inside were damaged. (I recommend checking the roof before renting the unit to another customer.)
susanna r | Overall ExperienceManagement doesn’t respond to issues in an appropriate and/or timely manner. The cleaning lady harasses the customers by constantly following them to their units after they arrive so she can nosily view what they have in their unit. She is always talking on the phone and barely cleaning. The bathrooms are constantly without toilet paper, trash can overflowing and ceiling fan cover falling / hanging from the ceiling. The employees are liars saying they will do things and then don’t follow through. I have been waiting on a follow up from a higher manager or representative to contact about an incident since May 31. Have had several incidents that the storage was inaccessible because employees wouldn’t come to unlock the door after opening hours. Started out as a nice facility but has progressively gotten worse after many years of renting.
