DALE W | Overall Experience8/26 I called this Uhaul facility and they were busy, so the automatic phone system transferred me to a cust service rep in the national call center. I told the rep that I moved everything out of storage and that I want to close the account. The rep said she would message the facility, but I would still need to physically go to the facility to close the account. The next day I received an email from Uhaul stating that my account was closed. The cust service rep was wrong. I think she needs to get better educated about the company she works for so that she can stop handing out bad information. 8/27 I called this Uhaul facility to ensure that my account is closed. I received an email earlier in the day that indicated the account was closed, but I wanted to call and make sure. The guy who answered the phone at this facility could not locate my information in the computer. He said I don't have an account with Uhaul. I asked if he just couldn't locate my account, or does this mean my account is closed. He could not give me an answer. All he kept saying was that I don't have an account with them. He was not very helpful. Then, as I was about to hang up, he asked a manager to look into this. The manager located my account, and confirmed it was closed. The guy I spoke to on the phone should have asked the manager in the first place, instead of frustrating me for 5 minutes by continually saying I don't have an account with Uhaul. The rep said he is new. It's okay to be new, but don't wait 5 minutes to ask for help.

That changed when their manager Michael tossed some of my lifetime belongings in the trash because I did not retrieve them fast enough! I lost my husband's ashes . My dog's ashes as well as things my parents gave me. What he did was unexcusable and extremely unprofessional! He should be relieved of his duties. I wonder how many other customers that he has done this too! I will never recommend your company and that particular site to anyone! You will also never get my business again! I will pass that on to all I know! Believe that!
