Livingston S | Overall ExperienceThe size of storage unit I reserved was “not available” when I arrived. I was offered two smaller sized units (not enough space) or a larger unit at considerably more cost / month. I had driven 500+ kms and did not want to start looking for an appropriate size storage unit somewhere else. The staff person was cordial but would not give me the larger unit at the price I had been quoted. The storage unit is both larger and at a higher price versus what I was offered in advance online.

Shawn R | Overall ExperienceSteven Smith who manages this U-Haul location was extremely rude and threatening. Refused to take partial payment that day and said he didn't have to accept partial payments and would sell my belongings if I didn't pay in full that moment and was very threatening about it. So I just made whole payment to avoid his threats. Stay away from this location if you are a woman. Very scary and unprofessional. I have never experienced such verbal abuse from a U-Haul employee before. Guess it's his opportunity to bully women ?Certainly not a way to handle a late payment.! Furthermore it was not a safe place as my helper hurt herself on sharp projecting metal randomly leaning against a wall.
