Elaine H | Overall ExperienceI reserved a 10 x 10 storage unit only to be told on the move in day that they didn't have any units available and that a reservation doesn't hold the unit. I blame UHaul, not this specific location, for this incredibly bad service. Could you imagine if a hotel did this to you?! If they wanted me to pay in advance to guarantee the unit, I would have happily done it but nothing said that I needed to do anything other than make the reservation. Instead, I paid for a truck, I paid movers and then had no place to put our things after we moved! Ridiculous!!!

Mark W | First ImpressionsWhile the staff were kind and helpful, the move in was not an easy process. They were having severe issues with the computer booking system. I was not able to move into my unit on the day I originally booked. When I returned the next day, the unit that they moved me to was already filled with someone else’s things. I ended up being there for HOURS between both days while this was sorted out. The employees did work to make things right and I appreciate that but I am probably never going to rent anything from U-Haul again. It’s not been a smooth process.

Nathan R | Overall ExperienceI can’t understand why it’s U-Haul‘s policy not to contact the people who rent at your facility that you had a flood. This is unacceptable. I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau, the local newspaper and the chamber of commerce about what had happened here.When I inquired what had happened, the manager (Nikki) told me that she had just started working in this facility and did not know of a flood. Again this is unacceptable. Her immediate response was did I purchase the insurance policy. I had no knowledge of this policy. I doubt that the policy covers flooding. Even though it was my son‘s clothing and some electronics that were destroyed. I think someone should call and let people know of a flood situation so that they can go and take care of their belongings. The question I have is this U-Haul‘s policy not to contact people?
