I rented a truck one way when I got to U-Haul they set me up with a storage unit I got it all in there except my sectional couch and that left me stuck in Redding with know where to leave my couch or to sleep I had to be at work at 7 am. The gentlemen that was still there said he'd give me another day on them but I still am having to payore die to having to fill the tank back up again.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI moved out on 9/12/26, NOT 9/14/26 The correct date needs to be reflected on your records. I would have given 5 stars, but if your staff cannot enter a correct date, maybe you need different staffing.
Joanna C | Overall ExperienceThe 2 employees were doing the best that they could. It was busy & extremely understaffed. Obtaining the storage unit was confusing with a long wait at the counter. Then returning the rental truck took over an hour. The 2 employees were running in & out, checking returns in, inspecting returned rentals, renting out trucks, answering phones, dealing with storage customers all while apologizing to the line of customers waiting. Again, the staff was courteous & friendly. It seems that since the pickups & drop offs are scheduled, the manager would have a look at staffing the store with adequate amount of staff during the busy/peak times. I'm not sure that I would recommend this U-Haul location due to it taking so long to get in & out. Staff was great, though!

The same person has terrible customer service. There was a long line of customers and he kept disappearing , didn't greet us or encourage us that we would be waited on soon. Accused me of lying about the previous associate who is handling my truck rental and then when I finally got the truck ready to go after an hour of wasted time I found a small brass padlock locking the roll up door on the truck I just rented. This caused me more time which I don't have a lot of of I've been renting from U-Haul for over 30 years. Never have I been treated this way..

There was also a man who parked his pickup in a loading bay and then took off after smoking crack in the truck… he was seen around this facility many times but does not appear to be a customer or employee. I did not feel secure and I had concerns about the security of my items.

CONSTANCE B | First ImpressionsThe amount of homeless people going in and out and the activity in the parking lot especially this week it made me clear out my storage unit and not want to use it ever again. Also, the keypad doesn’t always take your alarm code and it welcomes other names, even when you have pressed in the right number and yesterday when I was moving out, it welcomed me to the right name and as soon as I unlocked my storage unit, the alarms went off. The sounds are ear piercing, and triggering for those of us with triggers but all in all the facility is very clean very well-maintained. Staff is friendly, but I feel that the store is understaffed because I’ve never waited in line less than 15 minutes, which seems frustrating for people who are trying to move and already stressed out, but it won’t make me stop using you guys because you’re honestly the best in town.
