They put a lock on our storage unit after we called and confirmed we’d be late on the payment and once we paid they never took the lock off and we were unable to get our stuff out when we needed it. Every time we called the office nobody answered the phone, when we called all the multiple numbers they gave us to call the people who answered said they didn’t work for them nor knew what was going on. We called customer service who said they would pass the message to have them call us from the local store and nobody returned our call. We ended up having to take off work lose pay to go there in person to check on our account and everything. To rent a moving vehicle it is a great company but I will never rent another storage building again from uhaul.
RICHARD M | Overall ExperienceFIRST I FELL AND INJURED MYSELF BECAUSE OF THE OWNER LACK OF BUYING A $20 GALLON OF PAINT TO MAKE YOU AWARE THAT THE SIDEWALK IS NOT LEVEL, AND THEN THEY HAVE MULTIPLE CAMERAS TO THE PARKING LOT THAT HAS 20 5 GALLONS OF YELLOW PAINT TO GET YOUR ATTENTION TO THE MULTIPLE DRAINAGE, SO IN ENGLISH THE OWNER CARES MORE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER CAR THAN THE CUSTOMER WELL BEING AND THE MANAGER IS NOT EXCATLY PROFESSIONAL WELL NONE OF THEM ARE AND THEN THEY SAID THAT IT IS CLIMATE CONTROL 😀 80° IS NOT EXCATLY CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM AND THE RAT TRAP IS 1/4 OF THE STORAGE UNIT TO SO I HAD TO THROW AWAY $500 OF GROCERIES IN ALL OF IT THEN 2 TOP IT OFF THEY WERE SENDING ME LATE BILL'S OVERDUE AND I WAS ONLY IN THIS POFS FOR 4 DAYS TOTAL... THAT TELLS YOU THAT 👎 OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY COMPTENT AND EITHER IS THE OWNER OF THIS LOCATION ROSE CITY OF TYLER UHAUL AND THEN UHAUL HAS VERY LOW STANDARDS TO ALLOW THIS TO REPRESENTATIVE OF THEY'RE COMPANY NAME 🙄 SO, THEY YOU HAVE ALL OF THE TRUTH ABOUT IT OTHER THAN AFTER I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO GET UP AFTER FALLING I TOLD HIM THE EMPLOYEE AND HE LAUGHED AND SAID THAT IT WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED, AND THEN THE 4DAYS LATER I WAS MOVING OUT A FRAGILE OLD LADY THAT WAS ALREADY HAD A BANDAGE ON HER LEG AND WAS JUST WALKING AWAY AND I SAID WATCH OUT BECAUSE THIS SIDEWALK IS NOT LEVEL AND THEN SHE SAID THANK YOU FOR TELLING ME THAT!!!!!
