Lack of transparency when it came to pricing and zero communication with pick up instructions. Very unclear, unorganized, and misleading.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe attendant didn't help me and I read the wrong gauge on the truck and reported the fuel at a much higher level than it was when I picked it up. I took a picture for my records. And then I realized my mistake. I brought it back at the actual fuel amount I got it at and told the guy on the phone what had happened. He said it was okay and they will verify it with their records. But I still got charged $100 in fuel because I made a mistake when filling out the form.
Lisa DTried calling the help number on the door. No answer. Not sure why a closed down business is any good for a drop off location. I had to call our pick up location to make sure I was doing what I needed to do. Again, thank you Saturn!
Terrence NThe app was not working properly & it took me an extra 45 minutes to get through the rental process as a result. We were then double charged for the rental, with the initial deposit being held days longer than the second charge for the actual rental. Will be avoiding U-Haul in the future.
Kristianne VTo start with the truck was filthy. All the windows and the windshield was full of dirt from the previous trip. The inside of truck was full of debris possibly drywall material which i had to clean with broom and then mop it down before I could load my stuff. After my trip i cleaned the inside with broom. I do have the pictures and video of it i took before and after my trip as a proof. Surprisingly I GOT CHARGED $25 for not cleaning the truck which in fact I CLEANED TWICE, and it’s a ripoff. I would really appreciate if i get a refund for my money.
