I rented a 20’ truck and when we picked up the truck it had 2 dents in it and a hole in the windshield. The man at the counter never went to the truck and inspected it with us before we took it and then argued with us when we returned it because they said it started out with more gas in it than it actually had. When we refused to put gas in it, they put 4 gallons of gas in it when we put 14 total miles on the truck for the move. Most of that was picking up and returning the truck. There is no way 14 miles took up 4 gallons of gas. They charged me $29.87 for 4 gallons of gas. What a rip off!

It took over 30 minutes to get the truck. The counter man had to call a supervisor and ultimately found the keys in the box outside. The truck was not cleaned out. The blankets and dolly ordered were not in the truck. I had to pick up at another Uhaul. I was late getting to the move location and the movers we hired were waiting on me.
Gerald CThe service was horrible! When I picked the truck up, the clerk was on the phone the whole time. When I dropped it off, the clerk kept walking away from me to take care of other customers. If you ever need to rent a U-Haul, go to an actual U-Haul store.
Mary AThere was papers in the front seat that said “THIS MOTHERFXCKER IS INFESTED WITH BED BUGS” Took 1.5 hr to complete pick up. It stormed that night. We barely made it back the next morning from the delays. We were told they had a dolly and for our trouble we would get it for free with our rental. There was no dolly but there was a bunch of boxes we didn’t need.
