My drop off location was changed after arriving at my unloading location. I tried calling the number listed to speak to the contact. The number would not connect. I then emailed the contact trying to get a response and never received a reply. By the time I realized that I wasn't going to hear from anyone and got to the drop off location it was past the scheduled drop off time and I was charged a $40.00 fee. My original drop off location I was familiar with and expected a person to person drop off. At the location I was changed to I had to self return. That was an experience I was trying to avoid. All of my dealings during this rental experience seem to be for the convenience of U-Haul and not the customer.
