Got pulled off road in York, NE during torrential rain storm as trailer I was issued had non-working tail lights. Put a damper on our trip and we had to drive remainder of trip during daylight hours. I let the facility know, he asked if I needed to stop at a uhaul location but this put us behind so we had to keeo rolling.

Worse experience with you Uhaul ever! If you make a reservation, make sure you have the equipment at the location requested.

Ed was extremely pleasant and efficient to work with, He was readily available by telephone when I called and was well prepared to complete the delivery upon my arrival. No waiting, no hassles. I had tried to deal with two other U-Haul dealers closer to my house, but could not get in contact with them easily, then after making a reservation with one of them I learned when I called to make pick-up arrangements that their trailer inventory had been transferred to another dealer (no notification to me, so if I had not made a follow-up call, I would not have had any warning). A friend then suggested that I contact Ed at The Shed and I could not have been happier ! I do not know why anyone in the area would rent from anyone except Ed at The Shed. He rocks!

The gentleman at this location was very friendly and helpful. More than I can say for the gentleman I spoke with to confirm my location and truck needs. Been renting with you all every summer for the last several years, and that guy that called, just did not want to listen to the customer. frustrating. But the gentleman at the Shed was great.

Steering box seemed to be a little loose.

The fuel cap was some kind of brass or metal which got rusted and made it extremely difficult for me to unscrew it. I requested help of couple people at the gas station and finally I was able to get some fuel in it. I hope this does not happen to anyone body but its better to be prepared by asking the Uhaul personal to unscrew the cap prior to leasing it.

We had no furniture dolly, the owner of the shed, Ed let us use his personal one. There was no utility dolly on the truck, we made a second trip to get it.

There is no opening of the contract on my page so don't know what I was charged. UHaul site was down when I picked up the trailer so left my credit card info and had to trust that what was verbally spoken is what is on the contract. Hope everyone is trustworthy.

There needs to be regular maintenance done on the trucks between each customer. These people put their trust and money into Uhaul. When I get behind the wheel, and the steering wheel is snapping and making noise, that is a huge concern! If I'm driving at any speed, what could've have happened if that part was to go wrong on me? So I dropped the truck off, waited for the man to finish his phone call with another customer wantiing Uhaul trucks, listened to him make the reservation. Uhaul trucks are pushed out as fast as they come in, and nobody checks anything out except the mileage and gas, which are the main money making concern. NO MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY CHECK LIST??? REALLY?? I alerted the man of the issue with the steering wheel, he thanked me and said have a good day. It's simple, Uhaul should require a check list of many major working parts for the safety of all customers putting their trust and money into your services. YES they should also test drive it as to HEAR or FEEL any issues WITH THE PARTS THAT ARE NOW MOVING. Why can't there be any decent people in this world anymore. We are all we have left.
