This is review is not a reflection upon this particular location as the guy there was awesome. It is a reflection of the nightmare we had with our entire UHAUL rental starting in Nova Scotia to move to Alberta. We rental a 12’ enclosed “on-way” trailer. We made it as far as Quebec City when the whole wheel came off the trailer. Luckily we were able to pull over safely but had to wait for 2 hours for a tow truck. Then they sent us to Saint Ann De Beaupre. Way out of our way because it was the only place with a “one way” trailer. We spent 2 nights there waiting for movers to transfer our belongings from one trailer to the next. The movers put boxes upside down that were clearly marked too stay upright. Furniture that we packed safely ended up damaged. When we picked up the new trailer it had a low tire. We aired it up and had to do so many times throughout the remainder of the trip. When we finally arrived in Alberta and opened the trailer, there was snow and dirt on our belongings. The trailer was not weathered tight. I will say that U-Haul reps were very helpful and they did pay for our stay for 2 nights in a hotel. But we didn’t want to be delayed by 2 days so its the least they could do. U-Haul also paid for the movers and reimbursed half of our rental fee. I was happy with the 1/2 refund midway through our trip until we arrived and saw the condition of our belongings. My husband has cancer and I have MS. So transferring our own belongings was not possible. I contacted U-Haul customer service once we arrived in Alberta requesting a manager call me. I requested the rest of my $ to be refunded. The damage to some of my belongings amounts to much more than the rest of my rental fee. To date, no call has been returned. And I am stuck replacing items due to the poor lack of maintenance of the U-Haul trailers. I would not recommend a U-Haul trailer for a long distance move. Customer service was top notch. Their equipment is awful and maintenance could have prevented this whole sitiuation.

The after hours key drop door slot is not clearly visible in the dark. It should resemble the typical/expected version depicted in the app (orange drop box) or be clearly labelled and well lit as it was difficult to locate in the evening hours.
