True Value management was clueless about the location of the truck, the keys, and how to interact with customers. She sat on her ass being dismissive and rude. She said top me, that it was "U-Haul's" corporate problem for pushing my reservation back...yet they didn't even know where the truck was when I arrived at the later time. They called the prior customer that said he had dropped it off yesterday per phone call I heard. Worst customer service I have ever had from the manager sitting on her bench....then goes to chat socially while customers were waiting. Reflected poorly on U-Haul, but it was True Value mangament that sucks.

Easy transaction…pickup and drop off were as convenient as can be
David Che was helpful. there was struggle with the drop off, related to the pick up struggle. overall helpful but at this point i had driven over 1000 miles and moved someone else, i just wanted some nachos.
Elizabeth WProvide the equipment and location we initially reserved six months in advance. Our original reservation, made in December 2025, was to pick up a 15’ truck in San Luis Obispo. Three days before our pick up date we were informed via text that the pick up location was changed to Arroyo Grande, 20 minutes away. An hour before our pick up time, another text informed us we would be receiving a 20ft truck instead of the 15 ft we reserved. We had no choice in either matter and this was frustrating given our reservation date.
