Provide a truck in the location we requested. Wanted a one way move from Plains Tx to Carlsbad Nm. No trucks in our area had to pay for an in town move with 300 dollar charge for mileage we were not told about. Had to drive 120 miles to get the truck then drive back to our town to load then return the truck 30 miles away from the new town we moved to. Customer service on Saturday was non existent. The Uhaul brochure given to me was written in French so was useless if I needed to contact anybody. Very disappointed in this move. 4th time I’ve used Uhaul in 3 years and also the last.

Maybe just do more through inspections of not just the obvious things but also the little things like bolts and chains etc. I don’t have a bad taste in my mouth and don’t want t complain as the GM overall was very helpful.

S&S Bait & Tackle provided quality customer service, reliable equipment and an exceptional welcome atmosphere. The experience was more like dealing with a friendly neighbor than a business. I will continue to use UHAUL for my future moving equipment needs because of this service.

Friendly and knowledgeable agent.

The office is a small shack on the back of someone's property that is tucked away and not visible from the street. There is no signage that clearly indicates where the office is so you are left guessing which structure it is. Upon entering the office, which is a bait and tackle shop, I spoke with an employee and stated I had a dolly to drop off. She told me to just unhook it and drop it anywhere. I asked for a receipt and she said they didn't do that. I stated I needed a receipt to show I had dropped off the piece of equipment. She stated that the man responsible for Uhaul was off in the mountains and she had no way to access the laptop to do anything Uhaul related. She took my name and number and said she would have him call me when he got back to get a receipt. He did not call me. After contacting Uhaul corporate, I was able to complete the drop off process online to document the return of the equipment. Very unprofessional and not a business I would recommend unless there was no other option which may be the case for such a small town. With all the storage centers in the area, Uhaul should seriously consider finding a new contractor.

This is NOT an easily accessible field. The yard resembles a junk yard. The access road is tight and the maneuvering required to get into the yard is a challenge. Additionally, the yard is dirt. Due to recent rain, the mud was bad. The yard is NOT professional in any way shape or form. The man operating the yard was heading to drop of a trailer in Roswell when I arrived. He asked if I needed help which I did not - no problem with him. I would have had mud everywhere if I would have been picking up a U-Haul. This simply is not a good location.

Reservation for 26 foot truck. Rented it out before my pickup time at 9 AM. Had to rent 20 foot truck, and come back next day for 6 x 12 trailer to complete move. Had to pay for additional trailer and insurance at my cost!

Wonderful truck-and wonderful owner -He is very very helpful and customer friendly:)

I asked to change my reservation to one day and to see if there was a price difference and I was told I should just leave it for the two days and when I return it the difference would reflect. Needless to say the price was the same even though I only used it for 24 hours. The convenience of self pick up and drop off was amazing though!

Great service. Great person. Very helpful was able to take care of what El Paso did not. Me having to go from Roswell to Artesia was offered miles and extra day El Paso dropped the ball and S&S picked it up. Need to get El Paso on track or you will have some pissed off customers. You have a good person with S&S

My experience with U-haul was so good, I can't suggest an improvement. I rented my vehicle online to pick up two weeks later. When I arrived at my U-HAUL location, the pickup truck was there. I confirmed and verified my rental ahead of time when I arrived, everything was taken care of. I spent 5 minutes at the counter any I was out the door and into my rental. When I returned my rental the U-HAUL rental store owner Washington out, he checked the truck out checked the mileage and entered it into his app on his cell phone and everything was taken care of. I spent about 5 minutes at most returning the truck and I was on my way back home. My experience was perfect. The c

I did the online checkin to save time. When we arrived at the pickup location the guy in charge of it that knew anything about it was out of town. The fill in people had no idea about any of it. The place was a disaster. No pads or dollies were loaded into the truck so we had to help load that material. The place where the pads were stored was also a chicken coop too because a chicken came out the back foor where the pads were stored. This was the absolute nastiest U-haul location I have ever seen & would never recommend this place to anyone.
