The store manager claimed he had no service although he was doing a bunch of stuff on his phone. Was zero help and told me to go outside for over an hour and keep trying. U-Haul app is the worst app in the world and would not load at all in order to pickup and drop off truck in the app. I will not using this location or U-Haul again.

I paid for an appliance dolly, furniture dolly, and general use dolly, along with 2 dozen furniture pads. Go there and all they had l, out of all that, was one general use dolly. Was told I can go to “any uhaul place” to get them. Well…..:I was already at a uhaul place and had paid them for the items. I did not have the time nor the means to go to another place. The lack of equipment made the job more difficult, and several pieces of my nice furniture were severely damaged. I won’t use this location again.

Liz REverything about drop-off went poorly. I took the truck to the place listed on my contract (Citgo Auburn), the guy that received the truck didn't really seem to know what was going on, but he took the keys to the truck and said I would get an email confirmation of the drop-off within the hour. I asked for a paper receipt or something that would show I actually dropped it off but he wouldn't provide it. I did not get a confirmation of drop-off that day. I dropped it off between 8 & 9 AM. Around 2 or 3 PM that day, I received a call from another U-Haul location in Auburn and the guy snapped at me and said I was supposed to have the truck dropped off to his location 3 hours ago. I get it, he probably had someone trying to pick it up, but it was still a little rude. I explained to him that I had dropped it off earlier that morning at the location on my contract. He was confused as to why they sent me there, but told him the truck should be at his location. At this point I was concerned that they were going to try to say they didn't have the truck and I never returned it. He said he would try to track down the truck and we got off the phone. I didn't hear anything back so I assumed it was OK. Then, the next day, I get a text from U-Haul asking about why I haven't dropped off the truck and that if I needed more time, I should contact them to extend my contract. I called the number and explained to the woman I spoke to what had been going on. She was extremely helpful and said she would contact the store I dropped it off at an have the guy close the contract (which apparently he just didn't do). She was very helpful and friendly. Within an hour of us getting off the phone, I received confirmation that the contract was closed with the correct dropoff location, date, and time noted. So she resolved the situation for me, which I appreciate. All in all though, with the scheduling issue's at both ends, this was mediocre and frustrating experience.
