The premises is used for auto repair, and it is not clean, nor inviting. I first rented a truck in Sioux City, Iowa. Then dropped here in Austin, I was not impressed then. If it hadn't been for the fact that it was nearby, I wouldn't have used it. There was no walk around to assess any damages (which I noted at pick-up).

Start over. Dirty, pathetic.

It was not an attractive place but it is a repair shop for cars so I guess I can't fault them because of that..The man was polite and away I went. He waited on me and was courteous...Okay experience..

Can't believe this is the only U-Haul dealer in Austin, Mn. After 9:00 AM and no one around to help help eith te trailer. First impression not very good.

I ordered a 5 x 8 trailer and received a 6 x 12. I had to travel 4000 miles across the country with it and back! It was a lot larger than I wanted or needed. I am a woman so unhitching it alone was impossible.

Hire more people! I know you don't have control over affiliated car repair shop and stuff, but you can do better at your own locations. Especially the repair/hitch install shop, if location is so equipped. The idea is that you can install or repair hitch in one-stop shopping, but if you are perpetually busy and if it's like "oh, maybe we can squeeze you in next Friday", I cannot count on U-Haul to be able to take care of me when I need you. Like, I have to get on highway in 3 hours but there's one thing wrong with me trailer hitch so I'm stuck. There's hitch installation shop right in premise at the location and you have the parts I need, but you have one part timer working and that's it, so everything's on hold. So, that's one thing you can do better for the next customer, to answer your question.

The truck rental was the easiest thing I did all day!

Lights on trailer did not work. Gentleman said hitch. But not. It was within trailer hitch not pu. Also we were told we could but supplies there from SF.... Big not. Had to back into weeds to get trailer.

Truck was fine. I got charged 1.19 a mile and it it said I would only be charged 1.14. I was very disappointed by the change without prior knowledge of price change.

The building has a small unkempt office that was unattended. There was a gentleman working in the back (appeared to be a mechanical shop), just said throw the keys on the counter. No check-in procedures or anything. My Son and I made sure that the vehicle was in the same condition as it was when picked up. Very unprofessional.

My truck size changed so I was unable to use self checkout.

The truck was filthy inside. Their were cigarette ashes everywhere and dirt all over the cab.

Not a lot of room for uhauls. Kind of scary looking place compared to where I picked it up.

It took around 20 minutes just to do the paper work and get the truck. I was disappointed that I went to Alert lea and was expecting to pick up the truck in Albert Lea instead I had to drive another 25 minutes further to pick it up when I probably could have gotten some place closer

The trailer lighting on the left worked at pickup, but was not working on day two. There was a loose wire I had to repair. However, someone should redo the connections. The trailer looked like it had been repaired due to an incident.

No one was there. I just dropped off the key and left, which was very convieniant.

UHaul was awesome like always. We originally tried to rent thru Budget but it was a disaster all around. There can be no improvement when you all are already Awesome!

Wash the windshield. Clean the cab...at least remove the popcorn from the floor. Check the tires so customers don't have to deal with a bald tire, separated tread. and a long wait to have the tire changed.

staff helped secure trailer and check brakes and turn signal. That was appreciated.

The only complaint I have is I got charged for two days when I had it return by 10:00, a full day early. The equipment was great but I don't believe I should have been charged for the second day.

$1.19 per mile seems extremely high priced. I used the truck for about 4 hours and about 80 miles, and paid $162. That seems like a lot for the short time I used the truck. The location I picked up the truck from was located on an angled street, and the trucks were all parked along the road. It was really difficult to see if anything was coming to pull out of the lot.
