Manager Carlos at The Barstow location he did not tell me that I could not backup when using the tow for my vehicle. I had an issue with trying to get out of my driveway and had to call somebody over to assist with that so that in itself was a problem for me.

Where do I start the hidden charges. I went to rent a trailor and purchase a hitch but was told my car would need additional items driving the cost up. So I had no choice but to rent a pick up truck. There was a 3 mile difference from what the paper said compared to what the truck read. Then I go to put gas in the truck their chart was wrong I ended putting more gas then I needed. I could of rented from budget one way with 232 miles for the same price because they offer a military discount. Needless to say I would not use uhaul again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

This location put me in for a refund , however the amount of over $2,000.00 was taken out of my checking account leaving me less than $10.00. I had to remove funds from a Money market account to protect myself. As of this morning two days later it has NOT be replaced to my account. Hope some one up the food chain reads this. I am mad as hell and we use your company often.

Hire more exceptional people like Christine Gonzalez. She went above and beyond helping us get our equipment and getting us on our way at 5 PM Sunday, 2/4/18. She had to move equipment to get what we needed, helped us hook up and told us how to get to the freeway. I am glad you have such a dedicated employee.

I received a text after renting the truck that the drop off location I had selected did not accept any more uhauls so I needed to take it to the nearest drop off location which was around an hour away. Then when I took it there to drop it off the lady working said that there was a closer location which would have only been 15-20 mind away. I was not happy that I had to drive farther away.

Lubricate the tire belt tightening mechanisms. I had some trans oil that I put on a paper towel and wiped onto the mechanisms to free to free actions.

I rent every month. Usually it was good. This last time it was sub par. The rental process was fine. The return not so much. I find it incredibly hard to believe that I used 4 gallons of gas in 12 miles of driving. I used the guide on the contract to return to the proper fuel level, doing so brought it far above what it was. I don't think Charles(I think that's his name, green shirt, I assume the manager) realized I used to work there. I know all the dumb tricks, especially with the slanted parking lot. Putting fuel in the truck was not a problem. I just wanted to see how the new guy handled it, which was by making crap up about the trucks and their gas mileage. Not a good way to get return business. At least not from people who've both worked with the trucks and also rented many many many trucks over the years.
